Ok I know the anwser everyone will give is yes if 2 subs are hooked up to an amp putting out 1000wrms then the power gets divided 500 would goto each.
But here is the thing. Say it was a 2 channel amp. 500wrms per channel or like 1000 bridged. Now what happens to that power when you bridge the amp and say ran 2 2 ohms subs to it in series. Now the power sould be divided correct? Back to 500 each sub. Here is the problem ive installed a bunch of systems and every time I bridge a 2 channel amp instead of running 1 sub to each channel it is without a doubt louder to my ear. I am always setting gains with a dmm. Can somone explain what this is all about?
