Should HPF and LPF be ON or OFF when setting gains?

Or maybe OFF on the HU but ON on the amp?

Or OFF on the amp and ON on the HU

you don't want a filter to interfere with the test tones signal so you disable them

Mids test tone is 1000 hz

Sub test tone is 50hz

HPF and LPF are 80

Anyways i can turn filter off on the amp,but i cant turn it off on the HU.. I can only set it between 50-200,but i guess if i set slope to 0 it overrides the filter.

Filters don't just hit a brick wall at the crossover point, they roll off at a rate determined by the crossover slope.
