my current jvc reciever took dive on me this week so im lookin to spend about 250 on a new one. came across the pioneer Model: VSX-819H-K at best buy for 299. i was gonna wait till i got one of those 10% of coupons then i have 30$ in reward zone cash.

does anyone have any time with this reciever or know anything about it. lookis like a pretty good unit for the money. with all the hdmi inputs and ipod hookup

I have the new 1019, I have played with the 819 and its a very good reciever lots of extras on it also. I also has osd for ipod touch and iphone .

ive been looking at the model below that. looks pretty solid.

wut will happen if i use my 4ohm speakers with this? will it damage the unit?

i ended up getting the Pioneer VSX-918 for 240$. now if i could just figure out how to run that **** thing id be happy
