k i think we got this all wrong so here are some pics...

how it was befor with both subs hooked up

how it is now with only 1 sub hooked up.. says BLT on the thing not sure if its bridged or not.. and my ground wire.. so in this pic is it using 2ohms? i tried connecting to the pos. and neg. to the very left (which isnt BLT anmore) but did not seem to work at all.. amp light said over power or something?

pic of what 2 of my diffrent subs look like

i tried settin the gains down a bit because i had them maxed out.. could someone tell me the correct way to set the gains? is it just set so its not hard on the amp and sub?

oh and if you look at the top pic.. is that 2 channels since theres 1 on the very left and one on the oppisite(very right) not sure what they call those things and wanted to get that straight.. and i want to know how to set properly with a 4ohm sub..

like if i hooked up the pioneer sub was it suposed to be wired the same as the kicker? in BLT mode

Your subs may not be working at all. Test to see if the subwoofer is working correctly. Take a plug from a lamp or anything that plugs into a wall. Cut the wire. Splice the wire at the ends. Put one wire in one terminal, and another wire in another terminal. Plug into wall. If it moves, it works.

why'd u bridge it to 2 ohms when Trey told you your amp is ONLY stable at 4 ohms bridged?, no wonder ur amp shut down...

that pioneer prolly sounds better then that shallow mount kicker sub...

your head unit must have hella low voltage if your gain was maxed out...

first of all is my bridging even right??? i dont think i even did proper bridging.. and honestly i think the kicker sound alot better then the pioneer.. had the pioneer in befor by itself, wasnt so good. then i got the kicker, swaped it with the pioneer and seemed to sound better to me... but since you guys say i cant run the kicker on this amp im gonna use the pioneer and im gonna try bridging it the real way.. i read you gotta connect the wires to the sub like usualy and for the left over + and -, you connect 1 short wire into the + hole to the - hole

so is it bad for me to have 3 different subs hooked up to the same amp with them bridged at 1.34 ohms with an amp that is stable bridged at 4? seems to have been working fine for me for 2 months now.

hmm just found out 1 of the terminals arnt working... maybe it blew or sumthin or maybe it didnt work all along? well anyways how do you hook it up to 2 ohm or 4 ohms.. do you set this? or does it automaticaly set at its own ohms.. right now imm using the pioneer sounds pretty good actualy.. nice n clear

Here is what you do:

Go to Home Depot and purchase a 2x4. Have them cut it up into blocks about 4-5" long. Go home and glue these blocks inside your ported box. Glue about 4-6 of them in there. Put the Kicker sub in the ported box and wire it up. Now, purchase a mono amp that is 2 ohm stable. It should read this on the box. Connect the sub to the mono amp. + goes to + and - goes to -. Simple.
