wait i think i found another way to possible run 2 diffrent 12 inch subs... what if i added another ampliefier?? i think im gonna do that... gonna need that thing that divieds the power wire into 2..

well my suggestion is to build a ported box for the kicker and run it off the 4 channel until you save enough money to buy a new amp. This will be the cheapest way to start wangin and allow you to save up for new gear. A ported box can be made for about 50$

NO. We have not even mentioned cancellation. running different subs can have negative effects causing a dramatic decrease in spl and or sq

ported boxes dont work like that. They have to be designed to subwoofer specs and the port area has to be calculated to the tunning freq. of your choice. So you cant just cut a hole and call it ported

hmm actualy i have a ported 12 inch box but its really huge.. dont really like usin this cause i dont have easy access to my spare tire and takes up alot more room in the trunk..

yea and it is probably too big for you subwoofer. Like I said above each subwoofer has different needs as far as boxes go. If you give me the model of the sub I can recommend you a good starting point for the box

ok ill be putting it in the ported box for now.. hopefully it will sound alot better then just in that old single box that wasnt ported.. for now im just gona have to wait a while till i can get some new gear to make that 2 12 inch box i jus bought useful. thanks for all the help.. saved me from blowin up my stuff
