does my amp work with my two 12s? i dont think so.. help plz

well you could start by using matching subwoofers. I mean I have seen people use diff. brand of subs which is still a no no but diff. voice coils config. on the same amp is just WOWZERS

if ur running 2 different subs that handle different power and prolly different voice coils config. then both subs and amp are doomed

yeah befor it was just the kicker... i wanted more bass so i got 2 12 inch box.. think im gonna grab another kicker.. love that sub but kinda pricey.. but isnt it bad that 200watt x 2 and useing 2 x 400w rms subs?

ya get a bigger amp also, if u get another 2ohm kicker, hopefully dual 2 then get an amp that does good power at 2ohms

use the two ohm subwoofer and run it on two of the channels bridged....if it can handle 100x2@ 2 ohm it may only be rated at 4 Ohm. I do not have much experience with bridging 4 channel amplifiers. What kind of box is this in and is there any way you could post some pictures of this

technically no, but if you do not have a good understanding of how gains work then you will probably end up clipping the signal and blowing your subs and possibly blowing the amplifier

blowing that amp is not a bad idea, i say you do that.

But if you want to run two 12s then def. get another amp that will match the impedance of either two of the pioneer or two of the kicker. If you still want to keep that sony amp then perhaps you can use that for your highs. That is, if it's an amp capable of full range

save the 4 channel and that way after you have become addicted to car audio when you buy your first set of components you will have a 4 channel amp and can go active:naughty:
