Does mike49504 have one of your amps?

Mike has had a Zapco Z300 and Z150 of mine since September 1rst of last year... Not sure what the hold up is if it's parts related or not but I've been told like 8 different times he's working on it and should have it out in a few days.. It's been a month since I heard from him though so I don't know what's going on..

On a side note while he's had my zapcos I did send him a Orion HCCA 250 which was fixed and returned.

Thanks. Hopefully he will get them done soon, or at a min. give you the respect to tell you exactly why they are not done yet.

I sent Mike an Orion amp to repair and it was back in my hands in less than 12 days. He even called me to double-check on what I wanted done. No problems with him.
That is good to hear.

I wish that was the case with me, but hopefully all will end well.

I sent Mike an Alpine MRP-M1000 for repairs and he has told me that it has been completed. Other than money being an issue (with me) to pay for his work I haven't had a problem at all. And if you do read this Mike, I will be getting your money to you this week as I now have it and will be mailing it out tommorow. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

AND BTW HIS REPAIR PRICES ARE EXTREMELY FAIR!!!

I am happy for you, and I hope to have a good ending as I have said.

As for the repair prices, that is dependant on the situation, as I would have paid more not to have had such a long drawn out process with the communication issues I have had. For you it was fair, for me I have a different view.

I understand that 100%. I will hopefully be finding out how I faired next week at the latest.

You guys can bad mouth me all you want I really dont give a ****. This is what happens when you have someone else touch the amp and have no clue what the hell they are doing before you send it to me. Your crunch amp is being worked on YOU bouhgt it that way not me and when solder pads are missing the driverboard has been messed with and outputs have been ripped off the board what do you expect. And the soundstream amp you have sent me messages through email so yes i have been repling all the time. And yes why dont all you guys that talk **** call Maxxsonics or Cia engineering or audio clinic and ask the to buy some parts for the amp like the output driverboard a bad inductor ect and see what they say then if your not happy call soundstream and ask them for a new board for the amp because the one you have is screwed see what they say then come back here and talk some more **** I dont want your **** amps. I offer you a low price to fix them and then give me **** about it Im working as fast as i can.
Being unprofessional really makes business difficult. Even if your customer says they banged your mom, being professional makes all the difference. You could be the quickest and have the best quality work on the planet, but if your an ass (even if you are provoked) most people won't give you a dime.

Jacob and Sundowns success is a perfect example of how it sould be done.

Im gonna take Pics of the board In a lil bit of This soundstream XXX6500D that belongs to Kmanian to show everyone why it is such a pain to troubleshoot this thing and why its taking so long to figure out. Once you see the pics you will understand. I might have gotten a lil upset when people talk trash. And im sorry for that but To all of you that think they know everything Why dont you know the true facts before you shoot off at the mouth. Once you see the pics of this board you will understand completely. And yes i have other people here also well when it take day after day 8 hours at a time to fix 1 amp since i fix one problem just to find the next problem.

My experience with him was great. I sent him a DSC1500.1 in mid December. It was fixed the same day it was received and shipped back the following. Mine only had a bad switch which I'm guessing was an easy diagnosis and a readily available/universal part, probably the difference in turn around time compared to some of you guys.

Heres pics of this circuit board and i have plently more . This is how i got the amp !! So you tell me what am i suppose to solder to ? And i have to continue to rip almost every component off the board and just traces and find something to solder to. Once i fix 1 circuit in this amp i find other problems So Do you guys think this is an easy fix??

Mike, I hate to throw fuel on the fire, but you looked at this amp prior to sending me a price. In the pictures I see here the issues in the pictures would have been able to be seen prior to working on the amp. Is the amp in less than stellar shape, sure. but that doesn't excuse communication issues, nor does it nigate your willness to accept money to fix it. You saw the amp, and now you are whining about the shape of it. So is the problem the ability solder to the bad spots, or the ability to get parts. I can only assume it is the ability to solder, as you have just made two posts with pictures about the latter. That is horse crap in my book.

Do I haved the technical know-how to fix this amp? Absolutely not! I do however have the ability to build an entire 1700 square foot house in the time it has taken to get to what ever point you are on this amp.

Im not crying at all. When you fix an amp you just dont go ripping everything off the board and start replacing stuff thats not bad. ANd yes i know how to solder. It does take time to get parts for this amp since theres not many places that carry the parts. Im not in the business to argue with you nor anyone else on here. Im only stating a point on why its taking so long to fix the amp there was alot of problems with the amp. And like i said there were multiple problems wrong with it you have to fix 1 thing in order to find the next problem . The reason its been awhile is i had to wait for parts for this thing they came in i fixed that problem and tracked down another problem had to get more parts and so on so the waiting game is not me its on the wait once i order parts i have to wait for them to arrive. Im working on this amp again today and cleaning up the bad solder connections and trying to get it up and running. So yes i know how to solder been doing it over 10 years. Like i said im not gonna argue with you or anyone I wanna fix your amp and make it work 100% the first time. Cause if you get an amp and it blows up in your face i know your gonna be more pissed then you already are. So let me continue to work on this amp today and hopefully have some good news this week and we can get this squared away.
