If Mike has one of your amps and is "repairing" it please state what amp it is and when you sent it to him. If you want to add more, feel free.

NOTE: This is not a witch hunt, rather a fact finding thread.

For example:

Mike got my Soundstream XXX 6500 in November of last year.

FYI, I have informed Mike that I created this thread.

damm did he order parts from china to fix it ? wtf
Funny that you say that. Unfortunately in some cases that is the only place to find them. The shitty economy really made it tough to get parts. Companies started making less and less parts trying to brace for a huge slowdown in parts demand. Thing is that it never got as bad as anticipated and now they are scrambling to catch up. Many parts that were easy to find now take weeks or even months to get.

I'm sure if this were the case, and the repair guy made it clear to the OP what was going on, this thread wouldn't have been made.

this thread is not to cream Mike, rather to gain clarity.

As for the parts issue, that is an understandable issue, but other "issues" if there are any leave room for greater concern.

Mike has three of my amps. I sent him three, but traded two of them to get one of the three fixed. It has been since around Aug-Sept.

The amp I am waiting to get back is a crunch gp3000 pro. He said it is a pita because someone else tried to fix it which I can understand but its been a long *** time and I have seen that he has finished plenty other amps that were sent after mine.

Yea, I got that a lot also (which may be true, but then may not)

Yeah, I thought the same but its ridiculous that others are getting their amp back when I sent mine in way before. It should be first come first serve unless he was specifically waiting on parts on my amp then sure go to the next but when my parts come in, it should be back to my amp.
