does it matter how far away the crossovers are?

big negative

does not matter, just a bigger pain in the arse to run two sets of wires thru the doors and vehicle. i usually try to stuff the crossovers under the dash somewhere. and if possible do the tweets on the A pillar, i try to avoid going into the doors at all costs tbh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

unless you have to that is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

running wire thru the door boots is a pita.

I found it a bit easier if you open the door the whole way...work from in the door out and tape the wire to the end of a coat hanger. You will cuss and if you don't, this process will. About midway through you will wish you collected stamps. Very rewarding once completed.

I didn't have a problem with it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just pushed the wire through the boot, came out the other side //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Now getting the wire through the dash was a whole 'nother story, hehe...

drill hole. many of them.
Exactly what I had to do, except I had to drill the holes in the stupid molex connectors. There is one on the door and one on the door jam. It's cool that if I ever decided to take the door off I could just unplug all the electrical connections at once I guess. But how often is that going to be ..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I dunno......I remove my door atleast once per week. Sometimes more......
