Does anyone remember..

Just wonding if anyone remembers the old Rockford power series speakers. I just installed a pair of RFR-1404 mids in my car. They replaced a blown pair or MB Quart RSB 100 mids. Those Rockfords are the beefiest mids I have ever seen. The magnet is way bigger than the basket. It looks really out of proportion. It would look about right on an 8 inch sub. Also, the suspension seemed really tight for a small midrange driver. Does anyone have any opinions on these drivers. Personally, I was very impressed at the soumd when I listened to them today. They'll be getting about 175 watts rms, and they're crossed over at 250 hz at 18 db/octave. Can they take it? Thanks for any opinions.
