JBL 600.1 would work, or you could get a 1200.1 for about 80 bucks more and keep the gain down, that way if you wanted to get 1 or 2 more 6000's later you'd already have an amp for them

You're not going to know until you test with a meter. Typically even carpeting a box as opposed to painting is going to lose a few tenths.
