From what I have seen, the toby subs aren't anything special. Im not knocking toby cause I have heard a few setups and its pretty impressive, but their subs are usually only a couple hundred rms. Its all in the box design, im not positive but im pretty sure the guy only sells sub/box combos and all the boxes are bandpass'. A friend of mine had a toby 10 in his dodge ram on the back seat on about 200 watts and it got LOUD.

Again this is only what I have seen, not a 100% sure on this

Toby speakers are a brand of speaker from Fort Worth TX. They are band pass speakers they have several models. The designer Toby was an engineer for Lockheed martin I believe. I have heard he did the sound system for the bass performance hall in down town Fort Worth. You should google or you tube toby speakers to see what you find. I plan to make a small video about my setup I'll post a link when its done.

You should really hear it for you're self, doesn't seem like much but it is. My steering wheel shakes back and forth and my nose tingles when I go for a cruise.

it might be good to some, but with that same amount your paying the guy to do the box, you could have spent it on monster subs and amps then buy a design and build a decent box yourself and have way more output.
