so i showed me friends and they were quite impressed.. the difference in volume inside and outside the car is tremendous, I had it full blast and my friend driving in front of me said he could barely feel me but my dash was jumping all over the place and i couldn't see in any mirrors.
This seems to be what many audiophiles want to accomplish .. spl inside not out, its just kinda weird, im used to being heard haha. I guess this means i need to get louder!!!

did some calculations

not very accurate but gimme something to work with.

using the driver size x usable throw x amount of drivers.

I realize the actually cone area varies alot but this is what i got anyway

4xSD2.5s = 1039in^3

2xHDC15s=1059in^3 with a considerable amount more of motor force(also a few $s cheaper)

I wish it was more accurate but im to lazy to do the work right now?

carpeting done on the box...floor board and amp rack.

The only concern was the front n top.

The sides were not that great but it doesn't matter because they will never be seen

It came out pretty nice.

Wish i can get more but its hard to find places where people wont get angry. That last one was out on the ranch.

the sub is breaking in a little bit though and with the front doors open its a hell of a lot louder!

So i was installing my left door pod(the good one) today. I dont know what happend to my plan of covering it with vinyl but i ended up covering it with carpet, doesnt look to bad.

Bad news is i think i blew one of my tweeters...=( had it switched around with one of the speakers so i was throwing it 100 watts of power at frequencies down to 250hz =/ It didnt stand a chance and took me a while to realize what happend.

I might end up ordering another pair, even though i only need one or upgrade to something better. Its gotta be the same exact size though and these are fairly cheap imo and worked just fine.

the coils read zero but upon inspection i dont see any burns or rips.

Maybe i can just order the diaphram as it comes apart from the magnet housing easily.
