Do you use wood screws or machine screws to mount your sub?

Usually sheetmetal screws. The flat back on the screw head spreads the pressure much better than drywall screws. For the XXX I used machine screws and T-nuts.

I used T nuts and #12 bolts. I just had a hard time getting the T nuts to grab the wood. i did pre drill
