Do you use wood screws or machine screws to mount your sub?

I don't attach my subs. I keep large amounts of cash in my box and like to just pry the speaker off with a crowbar.

I use duct tape to hold the subs in the box and it makes for a great air tight seal.

As tight as my sub fits I might be able to get away with screws However, I use drywall screws.

Usually sheetmetal screws. The flat back on the screw head spreads the pressure much better than drywall screws. For the XXX I used machine screws and T-nuts.

I guess it really doesn't matter then. I just liked the machine screws and T nuts, but they don't do much good if the holes don't line up. I guess I can't drill straight anymore ;0)

What do you do? Set your speaker and mark your wholes and just drill some 1/4 inch wholes where marked, take your sub back out and feed the nuts up in the holes and hammer the nuts in the wood. And when they screw down into it it will lock into the wood?

I have never used them and only heard of them and just looked them up and this is the only way I can see it will work. I have problems ALL THE TIME with my drywall screws or wood screws coming out.
