He should waste his time and money putting up a fence? That's not cheap. At all. Especially powering that HUGE stretch of electric fence.

It wouldn't necesssarly be as much of a 'waste' as you'd think. I wonder how much time and money is 'wasted' rounding up said illegals and picking up their copious amounts of trash that is left on his property.

And I wonder how much money he would waste each week replacing torn down sections of fence? Its not that hard to cut through chain link.

I think the rancher was completely within his rights to do what he did

i am a victim of a illegal mexican!.......i feel this guys pain...i would round them up and cuss them the entire way back to mexico....

i was hit head on by a drunk mexican a few months ago.. almost totalled my friends truck out , and to top it all off he ran!, so they didn't catch him ...now i'm setting at home with a torn disc in my neck, and a pounding headache, with no job (cant drive a semi truck on pain pills)....and i think there fixing to do surgery on me.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif...........all thanks to a ****ing illegal mexican!

You're right it isn't hard, but the more time spent trying to get in to the country, there's that much more of a chance that most illegals will be caught before entering.

Also, the rancher can use the illegals that cross the border onto US soil to fix his damaged fence upon leaving.

It's win win.

Probably since they weren't able to find him for hit and run since he legally wouldn't be able to sign a title to a car here in the states, get his car registered, and so on. At least that is what I'm assuming.
