Do you get frequently shocked by your vehicle?

It's just your cars way of saying it's tired of hauling your fat *** around. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

If you were not in Florida, I would say it is because of the cold weather. When the humidity is down, like it is here in Michigan, that happens all the time. Winter is the worst.

Florida is actually pretty dry during this time of year and I usually get shocked when this weather rolls in. I just grab onto the bracket that the door shuts onto while I'm getting out and that just dumps my charge to ground so I don't get shocked.

Holding onto your keys and touching the vehicle with the tip of them is another good way to remove your charge and you won't feel a thing but you will be able to see and hear the pop at the tip of your keys. Hooray physics.

cover all metal parts of the car with bedliner. Problem solved.

Also dust particles hitting your car while driving can build up an electric charge in the cars chassis.

The tires insulate it from ground, so a piece of chain draging under the back bumper to the ground can help too.

You could fab up a fancy grounding rod thing thats accuated so when you shut off the car it will drop and ground, then retract.
