So many things to go over.
Obviously firearms arnt for show, I dont think so anyway. By that what I mean is I dont tell anyone, or show them off, ect... for any reason.
If the gun comes out of its place (the pistol anyway) its for either putting it away, or to use it. Other then that, no one sees it. Period.
In home, its locked up or at least put away were nobody knows where its at or can access it.
Fighting with ppl, I tend not to do. Sure ill argue with a person and if for some reason things get taken to another level the gun still wont come
out unless the other person forces me to by grabbing a weapon. I still try not to fight with ppl. I see nothing good coming from fighting, I dont
need assault charges.
Fighting with ppl at home, well that depends on the ppl that are fighting. Many times ive wanted to backhand ppl for being stupid, but never had
I had the urge to grab the gun and shoot them. Then id have legal issues to worry about, plus a huge mess to clean up. No thx.

in the LA riots, Ive stocked up & have at least 10K rounds of ammo in my room alone & quite a bit more around the house.

If someone does end up getting into the house, all they will hear is the sound of the shotgun loading one into the chamber followed by dont move.
What happens next is up to them. If they listen to me, they will be fine and be removed by the police. If not, well then they will be taken straight to
the morgue.
Canadian Dream, from the other thread ive understood your point. You’d rather not have a firearm around so you wouldn’t have to worry about killing some, or for someone else who doesn’t know
how to handle the firearm stumbles across it and hurts/kills themselves or someone else.
I personally take precautions to keep firearms out of reach of those or any ppl in the house. So im
not too worried about that. I don’t have any kids so it might be different then but I don’t see it being any different. Id just teach them gun safety & take them to a class just because. Yet id still
keep any firearm out of their reach. Ill just have to cross that bridge when I get to it.
