Appears to be a small potentiometer that varies the input voltage to the amp.

Its just a volume knob. All it does is turn down the bass from the level you have it at, not much of anything else. Better off probably getting a processor with a remote bass level.

Like OldOneEye and Tirefryr said.....it's basically just a volume knob for you sub.

If all you are looking for is something to quickly control the output of your subs with...you won't find anything cheaper. If you are needing more than just level control, then a processor would definitely be the way to go.

That would depend on your actual needs. As posted if you just want something to control your sub level you already found it. Otherwise you would need to list what exactly you need to control/contour.

Those links like like prods that just control the volume of the input, but not the gain.
