West, I understand you have issues with Kevin. But i have to comment on that thread. If we want this forum to clean up and change, even his for sale classified threads should not have people post dumping. Rules are rules.

Used with several hours of play time. All 8 were in the same setup of a dealer's shop car. They are used but not abused. All 8 are in perfect working condition.The dealer traded in and got the MA-8s, that is why these are for sale.

Notice that there surrounds on a few of them have been cut - the dealer had to cut them for whatever reason (assuming to make them fit in the box he built), so I want to point that out. Otherwise they are in great shape, and like I said, work perfectly.

I only want an apology and his pride is preventing that. I fak up all the time, and I usually admit it. Kevin's problem is that he thinks because he has a business, that he is above consequence, it's just plain not true. He has been manipulating members and moderators to try and make this site more Skar friendly, which basically takes a big dump on all the members here, even yourself.

90% of the people have never dealt with skar audio, they just repeat the same crap everybody else says.

Somebody could make an account here, make a bs thread that skar screwed them over and everybody that hates skar would automatically believe it whether it's true or not.

I'm not trying to take sides, but it's getting really old to always see these **** threads. I bought them from them, i had problems, they were taken care of professionally.

I'm sure mcdonalds messes up tons upon tons of people orders every day, but you don't see people posting not to go to mcdonalds about it.

If people wanna know about Skar, they can just search for it, but we really don't need the same thread to be posted all the time. Most of their customers probably don't even come to this site anyway.

And he has apologized to those people, once again many times

But everybody just wants to get in on the bandwagon about it although most of them have never had any deals with him.

It gets old seeing Skar audio, this, Skar audio that...if the company is really screwing people that bad, then take it up with actual authority...but all the threads do here is just clutter the forum and since kevin said those threads helped him get business, then technically you are supporting him because you are making him more successful.

All the treads were combined into one, and that thread was closed upon Kevin's request... So there's no more clutter.

Mistakes can happen, but that's with any business. If he addresses those mistakes and fixes them, then there is no problem, but if those mistakes continue to happen without trying to address them and fix them, then there is a problem

Like my story, i did that sub + box combo thing. I got the subs first then the box, well when I finally got the box the sub cutouts were too small (lol). No biggie really, I emailed Kevin about it and within a couple minutes he responded and said he would pay to have the enclosure shipped back, cutouts made bigger and then returned to me. Well I didn't wanna wait that long so I came across a jig and just fixed it myself.

A week later I noticed the board for the port was loose. Emailed him about it and once again got a response in a couple minutes. This is the response I got from him

I've seen this past history about the crappy boxes he built, but thats just old bs kiddie crap. He now runs an official business so he can't pull that same bs now or else a lawsuit can easily be made.

Skar Audio makes great products. Do not let the lifeless trolls who bash Kevin persuade you. Ask people who have actually owned Skar products. They will tell you how much they enjoy their gear. Kevin is a great guy & Skar Audio is a fine product!

If one week goes by and I don't see a complaint agaist Skar or Kevin. I will walk away will stop my efforts.

Like that thread that guy made about supposedly his kid got messed up looking subs or amps, it was ridiculous how many people believed that crap although there were no pictures taken or anything, actually people still believe it.

People who ride the bandwagon are so gullible it's ridiculous. I bet I could make a new account, maybe get 10 or 15 posts then make a detailed bs post of how skar audio screwed me over and post no pictures and people would still believe it, only because they are riding the bandwagon and just want to make it seem like Skar audio is really that crappy.

And i'm not saying all this because I bought skar, the first thread was informative to people and kevin apologized..people didn't really care and continued writing the same crap. It just kept on going on and on with the same people still posting the same things. New thread gets made, and wouldn't you know, its the same people saying the same things again, same with the next thread and even if 10 more threads get made, it will still be the same people saying the same things.

The owner may have been shady in the past, but the product is fine. I've been running my VVXs + my brz since march and I haven't had any problems yet. So if somebody asks about skar, just tell them the product is good, just the owner has had some shadyness in the past and for them to search for info instead of making a thread about them over and over.

That's all I have to say, if we want this site better than this can be a start.
