Been around for 2 months.. never bought skar products?? So not only do you not know that skar makes great subs (cause hell, lets admit it.. if you like sundown then skar IS the same sub.. designed by the same guy) but you werent even around when ANY of Kevin's shady actions took place. You also werent around when Kevin made amends with his victims and corrected the wrong doings of his past.. You, Titothepirate, etc. etc. just jump on the **** of a few old timers and the bandwagon gets annoying as hell when a noob running boss tells me my skar vvx's are ***** because a guy (who lets face it, most of kevins haters are jealous that THIS GUY has an audio business. So he was born with a silver spoon, stop letting his rich parents control your life) on a forum tells you kevin was a shitbag as a teen.. Point being, you dont know anything about the situation, the company, his business, the products, the past, or the actions of kevin to make things right

1) What did kevin do wrong AND what did he do to correct the issue. I can assure you any issue you can copy and paste from the ton of skar hate threads the search button will show that he made amends.

2) were is the victim who WAS scammed or "screwed" by kevin and is still unsatisfied to this day?? Because even though these threads continue to arise, no one has come forward (minus trolls with zero proof) and claimed to have been screwed over by skar audio and NOT have the issue resolved.

I see a guy who was an a$$hole as a kid, who matured, got a loan from daddy, and started a great audio business with a great product and lots of potential. Then he publically made his amends on this forum. You only know what you have read on the "Skar audio is da devil" threads.. how about researching how he corrected his wrong doings and searching for a displeased customer..

ok... two things that im fairly certain he never publicly apologized for and shows his lack of ethics.... changed forum members posts on his vendor thread and altered their opinion, bought sundown preorder subs and then sold them at a higher price after the sale... the 2nd one is just wtf, why would an owner of an audio company try to make a quick buck at the expense of the car audio community... that makes no sense to me.

In response to your take on Kevin, if your fine with his past and comfortable with his product, more power to ya. But personally, i would rather buy from a company that exhibits good judgement and ethics...

While I agree he shouldnt have altered someone else's words.. but let be honest, the guy was post dumping in a section that kevin pays money to have. Post dumping is against the ToC of CA, so if his words are altered while breaking the rules set forth by the owner of CA.com then on well. Two wrongs dont make a right, but it was very well 2 wrongs, not just kevin. So what if he didnt apologize for someone post dumping in his sections classified ad, the guy was being a dikc.

Also, as long as we are talking about 2 wrongs not making a right, how come you arent upset with Jacob for knowingly selling a ton of his pre-order to a guy he recently aided in building a new audio business. Is it not just as much Jacob's fault that Kevin was able to buy all of those sa's, and if it is then why are people always upset with only kevin when jacob took his money and condoned the act.. Takes 2

how can we blame other people for the wrong things he did??? this is my problem, he obviously hasn't stepped up and made all his past wrongs right, he hasn't taken responsibility for his wrongs and this is where where his ethics become questionable... good product or not, you can't stand up for this guy forever man

Well he has a website if you want a-stock.. however JUST LIKE the sundown, Kevin uses this forum to peddle his b-stock at discounted prices. Please search "Sundown garage sale" as that is exactly what Jacob the car audio God utilizes this site for as well.

If you are referring to when he bought up nearly all the sundown presale stock of the sa8s then sold them at full msrp, that is very unethical, those subs were intended for consumers not wholesalers/retailers. To top it off, he lied about how many were actually purchased. Sundown should never have let that happen, they are on my **** list along with Skar, but they are not nearly as shady as skar. There is not a single other company out there that buys presale stock of a competing company and then its turned around and sold at full msrp.....not a single company in any industry in the WORLD does that. Those sundown subs were meant to be distributed among enthusiasts in the community to raise awareness for the product, not to be flipped by some dirty jew rat bastard who was only concerned about his profits.
