hi. i heard that its good to put some "3M Super 90 Heavy Duty" IN ADDITION to the back of the mat. is this a good idea? i dont wanna ruin the adhesive that the company puts on it already. i dont wanna screw the back of the mat up.

thanks

I do not suggest using any contact adhesive on any second skin product that already has an adhesive layer.

A few years ago ED had some instructions on thier site for edead, that suggested the use of spray adhesive on thier product IF it had a problems sticking.

Problems was even that wouldnt help with the adhesion problems of asphalt mats. That would be like trying it stick a melting ice cube to a block of ice with spray adhesive.. won't work

For The Second Skin prooducts that have no adhesive 3M super 90 is a good one, but not specificly designed for foam. An alternative I suggest is

http://www.secondskinaudio.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?pg=5&p=ps

We have it specificly made for upholstery foams and fabrics.
