Do I pay or not

to the people who thinks my insurance should pay-they said because the equipment (culligan water system)failed and i did not leave the bathtub running for example they are not paying and hell no i'm not cancelling because they won't pay for his sh it,my insurance is USAA by the way,my insurance company said if the HOA book says i'm responsible they will pay,but i looked over the manual and he is SOL

I would try to get the money out of culligan.

If me neighbors swimming pool busts and causes damages to my house, then they should pay. Whether its the insurance company, themselves, whathave you.

Why should your neighbor be out $500 when all he did was live there? I could see if the water thing busted open in his house, but it busted open in yours.

x2. Beat it out of insurance.

Just remember, you have to live next to this person..

Indeed X2. I would have probably just paid the $250 due to the fact that it's my equipment (rental or not) that caused the damage. What if it was this that happened to you? Would you want to pay $500 for something that your neighbor caused? I think that it would be fair to pay half of his deductible.

I don't think the neighbor should have to pay anything at all.

If a tree fell on my neighbor's house, shouldn't I have to pay?

If I my house caught on fire and burned my neighbor's, shouldn't I have to pay?

If I were the neighbor, I would sue both you and the insurance company (mainly the insurance company as they are the ones that should have to pay)

edit: I wouldn't sue you to be a dick, I would sue because I *think* I have to include you as well.
