Do I need to fuse my amp

I just ordered my Taramps HD3K and it doesn't come fused internally so I guess I need to fuse it. I think I've asked this once already and I remember someone saying I don't need to fuse it and the fuse I put by the battery is good enough but I wanna ask again.

The fuse is to protect the cable more than the amp. If the amp is going to blow a fuse wont stop that. If they is anyway the cable could short it would be smart to fuse.

Check what your wires rated at. Fuse accordingly.

I'm using SHCA 1/0 OFC. It doesn't say what it's rated for on the site. I already bought 300a fuses so I'm guessing this is good enough.
