I am having trouble figuring out how to wire these two amps together. My current system contains:
-polk mmc650's in front doors
-polk mmc690's in rear dash
-JVC KD-G510 headunit
I originally just wanted to add an Infinity Reference 7540a for the polk speakers but then i got a decent deal on an Rockford Fosgate Punch Stage 2 P210D4 and bought an Infinity Reference 311a but after getting the amps i am not sure how to install everything properly. I have this wiring kit Lightning Audio LCK4D.
Can i just install the 4 channel amp like i would normally and then somehow directly connect the smaller mono amp to it to run the sub or would I need to get rca Y adapters to split the connections on the back of the head unit so that both amps are wired directly to the headunit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
By the way if you feel the need to criticize my setup so far go for it. I am new to the car audio world but was looking to pickup the hobby at least for a little while. Also I primarily listen to rock/indie/metal. The car is a 96 subaru legacy. If more info is needed i would be glad to give it.
