Do I need "Ground wire"?

Grounds should be short as possible, to limit the amount of resistance in the line from length. In other words, shorter is better.
The site you posted has Stinger OFC by the Ft for cheaper than the American Accessories you posted. WoofersEtc.com - SPW10T - Stinger PRO 1/0 Gauge Premium Power Cable

But, as said, there are many brands out there now with good quality wire. Just stay away from the cheap Bullz Audio stuff!
Isn't copper wire usually like copper color :p or is that just a generic photo?

Lol, I searched through all the woofersetc 1/0 wire category and that was NOWHEREEE in there for me... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Alright so, I'm upgrading the wiring under my hood from 4awg to 1/0. (For big 4)I've seen power cable advertised as "ground wire".... is there any actual difference? Or are they just trying to get me to spend more money?

Is there anything wrong with using "power wire" as "ground wire"?

If ground wire is "legit", where can I get it by the foot?

And does anyone know if THIS(WoofersEtc.com - 0-Gauge - American Accessories 0 Gauge Power Cable) wire is true AWG? It seems kind of cheap for 1/0....
The only reason they claim it's ground wire is most likely just color coated or it just has negative marking on it for dummies.

Its tinned copper, thats why it is silver in color. Tinning helps prevent corrosion. Pure copper is prone to oxidize (turn green) and that impedes electrical connections. Kicker, Monster and Stinger all tin their OFC.
