Do i need a HO alt?

Okay the car is a 1991 accord station wagon. I dont know what the stock alt is rated at. I will be running a Alpine SWX-1242D off of a Alpine MRD-M1005, a Alpine CDA-9857, and a set of Infinity Reference 9612i in the back. Those and some Memphis 15-MCSYNC5 will be powered off of a Clarion APX4360 and a Clarion EQS746 thrown in for good measure. I plan on doing the big three with 0 gauge. Will i need a high output alt for this? Where should i buy from?

Best advice is to wait until everything is hooked up and see if you have any voltage drops.

I think your car has an 80 amp stock alternator, but im not sure. If it is, than i would say youre going to need one, but like ^he said, try it and see if the voltage drops while driving around.

a good battery and 0 gauge all around should reduce a lot of dimming.

To find out what your alternator is go to Pep Boys, AutoZone etc they look it up for you...............

No, if more power than the alt can provide is need it will pull it from the battery.
