Looks like you bought your stuff from best buy. Ya see how you do first without any upgrades, check your voltage somehow, I have experience with that amp and it can actually draw some current so you might get some V drops or dimming. Upgrade big 3 first if you do, then your battery after that. That should be sufficient enough though for just that amp

Just do the big 3 and then see if you have any problems.

Looking at the title of the thread i knew it had to be a noob. But if you demand a straight answer then the answer is

1. No

2. Nobody truly needs one

3. What for? Invest in a second batt,Big 3, or a HO alty if you must
