Do I need a 25 farad cap or not??

Hope someone out there can help me, I recently bought a Rockford Fosgate 1000x1 mono block, and a RF T1 Power Series sub. I got all of it for $150. I want to install it in my SUV, but i have a problem, I think. The RF website says I need a 25 farad cap. Do I really need one? What would happen if I decided not to use one? It also recommends that I have a minimum 100amp alternator, my stock alternator is 105amps. Should I upgrade that as well?? Thanks for your help in advance.

Yea if you got the spare money but honestly you should be fine without the big 3

Do the Big 3, upgrade your battery, and see how that helps. If you are still experiencing problems, then it may be time to upgrade to a HO alternator.
