do i need 2 or 4 channels?

Hey I need some advise from you all out there before I drop hundreds of dollars on the wrong amp. I have Boston acoustics s60's in the front (55rms) and Boston acoustics fx5's in the back (15-60rms). These speakers are currently running off of a 880 prs head unit (22 watt rms), I want to add some juice to the speakers and optomize their performance from an sq standpoint. I have a BA G2 12" (300w rms) running off of an alpine m350 amp. So my question is, should I buy a 4 channel and use it to power all four door speakers and keep the alpine running the amp, or should i buy a four channel and power the components and the sub (getting rid of the alpine amp), or my final option should I buy a 2 channel to run the front components, let the hu run the rear speakers (again rated 15-60w rms) and keep the alpine running the sub? Would there be any particular advantage to either of the three options? Whatever amp I buy I want to make sure i get enough power to upgrade the speakers without having to buy an amp all over again. why not get a 4 channel and run that to all 4 speakers, and leave in the amp you have for the sub?

or get a 2 channel and run the fronts off of that, the rears off of the HU and the sub off of your current amp.

That's exactly my question 04 edge. I don't know a lot and I'm not sure which route would be better. The one thing I'm thinking about is if I run the 4 channel to the four speakers I might fry the rears. I don't know if the rears really need amp'd since they are rated at 15-60w rms and they are getting 22 from my hu. I just don't want to cut corners and do this half assed. BTLKING, you suggest a 2 channel for the comps and keep my hu running the rears and alpine running the amp, correct? Any particular benifit to this route, vs the others?

do the 2 channel run the backs off the hu and the fronts off the amp

just to be safe one the rear speaks most people will tell you to take them out but id leave them in off minimal power just for that extra little kick without overpowering them
