Do i have to ground 2nd batt.....

Hmm... Most of people do think caps are a " waste of money ". But I like the way the look on an install, plus I see the difference with and without one. It's working for me, and always has, so... Everyone is entitle to his/her opinion.
And as far as being a " Tard " ... HAHA! Seriously.... Hmmm... Well like I said " Everyone is entitle to his/her opinion. "

I fused both for the simple fact.... ( If you weren't a " TARD " you'd know this )

- I grounded Batt2 to the Batt 1 Ground Terminal.... Also, grounded Batt2 to the frame. Since 2 objects that have CURRENT or CONSTANT POWER are connected, Fusing is REQUIRED!... -
You'd only need to fuse the positive tard. And it would be best to fuse the positive wire twice, once near Batt1 (w/in 18inches)... and once near Batt2 (w/in 18inches). But, of course you know that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif... probably didn't even do this... which is very unsafe. No mind, you probably wouldn't even tell us if you didn't...

They're a band-aid. They don't fix anything; but could possibly cover up the problems that you have yet to fix. Physics isn't opinionated.
INdeed.

Should I take pictures and summit then to show you my setup?.... As far as fusing and wiring goes?

I have a 300 ANL fuse for my power.... and a 300 ANL fuse for my ground .... When you connect the both battery ground terminals, its BEST to fuse between them.... TARD - you should know that... Hmmm, probably wouldn't admit it to us ANYWAY! or in your words " ....If you didn't.... "

First of all, your post makes absolutely no sense at all...

SECONDLY,

YOU ONLY NEED TO FUSE THE POSITIVE. IT IS TO PROTECT AGAINST A SHORT, GUESS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SHORT A GROUND... NOTHING... BECAUSE IT IS A GROUND.

YOU ONLY NEED TO FUSE THE POSITIVE... or hell if you really wanted to be *** backwards, only fuse the negative. YOU DO NOT NEED TO FUSE BOTH.

How am I " *** Backwards " if I have both fused? ...

Answer this smart guy:

If your negitive/ground/anything related.... Shorts, disconnects, malfunctions... How are you goin' to receive power?.... Through just the power wire I suppose... No need for a ground huh?

Since I have my Power wire fused.... And my 2 Battery Ground Terminals connected.... If 1 Ground Terminal on 1 on my batteries so happenly just decides to short for some freak reason. You're tellin' me that a draw back couldn't occur to the first battery?... Therefore making my first battery short also?

* Since my second batt is running my system, and it shorts.... How is my system gonna continue to receive power??? Through the power wire only?

When a fuse pops the circuit is no longer closed (it's open) and current isn't going to flow. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.appliance411.com/faq/circuit-open.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.appliance411.com/faq/continuity-testing.shtml&h=193&w=347&sz=5&hl=en&start=5&tbnid=qEHGYvO_cAnslM:&tbnh=67&tbnw=120&prev=

Well i know you guy's are having fun messn with this guy here. but what does everyone think of my idea of where to running the 2nd battery? would that work well?.

That'll be fine... I khave several friends with 2 batts under that hood.

And what's your point Lakota .... That's the exact same thing I said, just different word.... No power... no current.... open not closed....

k man thx. im actually going to have one of my friend's i work with is a welder so he is going to make me a battery tray to put on the inside of the fender:D.
