I currently have a rockford fosgate punch 1000bd on a 2 ohm 15" L7, big 3 on a 100A alternator and two duralast red top batteries my car wired with knukoncepts 4ga wire.

I want to add a second 4 ohm 15" L7 ona kicker zx1000 that will be connected to the second battery in the trunk, with what i have would i have enough power to supply this or would i actually need to rewire with knukonceptz 0 ga and upgrade my alternator to 200A?

Alright thanks guys ill do a rerun and see how that goes, if my voltage drops too low constantly ill do the alt also
Well redtop arent the best batts despite what the saleman may have told you. But with both of those u have Id assume atleast 100ah and a 100amp alt so I see no issues staying in 13's-12's all day. Just be sure to use all 0awg even CCA will wrk for you and cost u less.

Yeah i noticed one of them only has about 600 warm cranking amps, the other has about 800 so i might sell them and get a kinetik hc2400, i also read that when the car is off the batteries will slowly discharge each other i dont have an isolator between them. Should i put a kill switch to seperate the batteries when i turn the car off or is it really not that big of a deal?

U need to see what the AH rating is on the batts as thats what matters... Also, as long as both batts resting voltage is close then no they will not drain each other.... Also, never play radio with car turned off.
