must i put an inline fuse on my 0/1 gauge wire from the "batt. to alt." ?
i read this from a member. just wondering if he's right??? of course, im still gonna put the wire in
"You don't need a fuse from the battery to the alternator. The factory never put one there and the wire does not pass through metal. It's chances of being compromised are little
Also, since both have current potential when the motor is running you would need a fuse at each end of the wire."
PART 2
i have a distro. block, this one: http://knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=FB-1024D
from knukonceptz. now i'll be splitting 0/1 guage to 2 JL500.1 amps. i believe JL says 50 amp fuses before the amp. can i use those MINI ANL fuses with this or ONLY the blade-type will fit?
