DMM question

so i just went out and bought a DMM (so i dont have to borrow my friends) and cant figure out what setting to put it on to adjust my gains can somebody help me out.................. heres a pic

You want AC volts, which would be the V~

It should be in the manual that came with teh multimeter.

so 700 rms..... it should read 37.41 right? on the V~ 200 setting...... manual dont say shit

The right one. V~ like mentioned above. The other one is for reading DC voltage like your car battery puts out.
