dmm help

where should I set this thing to test the voltage to the amp. . .I know that my hu puts out 4.5 volts so I want to set the amp to the same. I just got the dmm today. any help will be appreciated ie post or links or previous posts that may help.

Why do you want to make the amps output 4.5 volts?...

yeah I'd like to match the 2 up correctly.

and where is this gain tutorial. for using a dmm to set the gain.

Accept the part when you take the DMM and read the output of the amplifier while playing a test tone...
