DLS RS6 v.s. Morel Tempo 6

Hey guy I was just wondering what you all think about these 2 speakers. Theyre right around the same price, but im leaning more torwards the DLS's since they have a shallower mounting depth. I tried searching here for reviews on the DLS's but there aint much info on them. Im open to suggestions on other comp. speakers in the same price range. And these will be powered of a USAmps MD42. thanks everyone.

DLS mounting depth is 2.09".

I've listened to lots of DLS and they are some of my favourite sounding speakers.

Both are quality comps, i have never heard or owned DLS but can vouch for Morel and that they sound great.

Maglite - yeah the mounting depth is nice. And hows the midbass out of the comp. sets U've used and heard? Im trying to not run a sub if I dont have to lol.

The DLS had good midbass. I think you'll still need to a sub though.

Thanks thats good to know, I think I should be satisfied with the midbass for a while till i save up more for a sub haha. So right now it seems like the DLS is winning:laugh:

I know it always drives me crazy when people suggest something not listed in a thread of mine since I have to go do more research, but check out the Hertz HSK 165. I have a poll over on DIYMA going, and these are winning by a substantial margin. I only say this because the Morel Tempo 6 and DLS R6A are also on my list as components I was considering.

I did some research and found quite the opposite. That a few users who have owned both preferred the DLS over the HSK's.....Wish I remembered where I saw it.

lol. its not a problem im open to suggestions which U probably kinda missed in my 1st post lol. But on the other hand I was thinking about the HSK165's and always wanted to try them as well, but its has the deepest mounting depth of over 2.5" followed by the 2.5 of the tempos and the 2.09 with the DLS. and MCgyver I think it would surely would be an upgrade from ur PG RSD65 lol. I was thinking of running those just to get music back in my car but I rather just spend the money for the higher end stuff than waste a little money just to upgrade again U know? lol

whats your budget? i rather the DLS any day.. morel has poop for xmax if you want to put any real power to them you need to cross them around 120hz... the cdt HDs are nice as well.. you can get them with the DRT 26 tweeters which imo are the best for the money... also don't forget polks SR and pioneer PRS...

papermaker - Im looking to spend no more than 200 on a set. I've looked into CDT but I get so confused as to their line ups, like on woofersetc they have so many variations yet the tweets talking about T24 and T25 etc are different between the lower line models. But as of right now im like 90% old to the DLS's
