The list price may be $600, but I got them at InfiniteCarAudio.com for $200, and they carry the full line. Not sure why, but notice the MS5 5.25 model are $50 more...

I considered the UP series, but decided it was too big a jump in price, especially since the MS series has the same tweets.

How much improvement would you expect from the higher end versions Vs these? I don't really care if my speakers use small or large magents due to hainv a TON of space inside the doors in my titan.

for $200 I'm thinking about replacing my Excelon Dual Mags would these be substantialy better?

Would 75 watt x 2 eclipse amplifier deliver enough power?

My friend has those.

The tweeters can be harsh to put them on the LOW setting.

And DON NOT touch the cone, it dents incredibly easisly

They go really loud before you can hear distortion in the tweeter.

Which series would sound good off 75 watts RMS? And would these produce better SQ than say Diamond Hex and CDT HD's or RE XXX?

I think they look real simple and nice and I am hoping to keep my amplifier, but they do sound kinda fragile. I'm Really just looking for something better than my kenwood excelon dual mags, laugh if you must! I don't think it will be hard to beat them.

Dont know if they produce better SQ since i havent heard the HEX or the HD.

They are also not even in the same category as the MS6

If I were you id get the UR series.
