DLS Iridium 12 vs Kicker CVX 12

hello guys,

im considering a sub with great sq and loudness , so which one of the 2 subs would be a better choice? has anybody have experience with both of them? since the Iridium Xmax only is 14mm sohuld i expect bad low freqs performance?

I also own 2 Kicker CVX's so my opinion is biased, but I do like them a lot.

CVX is louder. iridium is supposed to sound great. May i ask why you narrowed it down to only these two speakers though? There are plenty of good options. Whats your budget? And what are you wanting out of them?

there isn't any ID MAX , AURA or many of other great SQ drivers here in my area so Decided to go with the Iridiums or CVX .

I think the CVX subs has great Sq since i've seen the graphs in WinISD and noticed that they can produce very nice SQ even at high SPL in a Ported Box! as well as the iridiums but the iridiums couldn't reach the Spl of the CVX at high sq ...
