Honestly, that is a decent starting setup. Howevery, I use numark tt-500s and I do NOT CARE WHAT DJS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT IT. My numark TT-500s SHIT on Technic 1200 fanboys (pretty much every analog dj). But If I were you I would look into Rane Serato Scratch Live along with that setup!

you can do all the basic mixing and shit like that but is a good bedroom DJ set-up and since your just starting out its perfect. If the price is low then even better

IDK what stanton table those are but the mixer blows, I had it as my first mixer... Just find a better mixer. As for the guy with TT 500's, get a life, I have them two, they are nice for the price, but that doesn't mean 1200's ****, your tables wouldn't exist without them, show some respect. And I am willing to bet a 20 yr old set of 1200's will last longer than our numarks..... Get some TTX1's then talk shit.

If I was DJ'ing I'd probably use something like an Ortofon Concorde or Stanton Trackmaster, cartridge setup is a pain in the *** and anything that saved me from having to do that every time would be a major help.
