distribution question

i am upgrading to 0/1g wire for my rf t1000bdcp, it takes 4g, i found a dist box with 0/1 in 4 out. the question is, will the in-line fuse next to the batt be sufficient fusing? or should i use a fused block?

If the fuse up front is low enough to protect the rating of the 4awg, you'd be fine. Otherwise, use a fused block, or toss a separate inline fuse ont he 4awg after the block.

the rf requires a 150amp fuse, i have a mini 150 on the 4g will be upgrading to a full size fuse/holder for the bigger wire. couldn't find reducers, so i will be leaving about four to 6 inches of the 4g to the amp. will this be ok?

you should be fine with the short run of 4ga. If the only amp you will be using on the 0/1 ga run is the RF, just fuse to 150a right near the battery. If you have another amp, use fusing to suit the system at the battery and fuse the RF amp to 150 on the 4ga feed. No matter what, always fuse near the battery up front.

just daily, trying to cut down the light dimmage, and thinking about going from 2ohm to 1ohm.
