well, i have 4 amps, i know its a little overkill, but should i run :

1. 0/1 guage into (4) 4 guage

OR

2. 0/1 guage into (2) 4 guage for my sub amps (2) and then just a 4 guage line run back and split into (2) 8 guage pieces for my other 2??

if i go with number 1, will any LESS power be gettint to say sub amps where i REALLY need the power more than the speaker amps? is it better to do number 2 and run a SEPERATE power and block to sub amps?

or do i see the SAME power going to all NO MATTER what??

thx!

What? Wait, please explain the 4 amps.
well the 2 sub amps are JL 500.1 's , so i thought i would get more power from running a single 0/1 guage into (2) 4 guages from the battery ? instead of splitting the 0/1 guage into (4) 4 guages. would i be right?

the other 2 are just normal pioneer's for my speakers.

now will i get LESS power from the battery to the amps if i run 1gu in and (4)- 4 guage out ?? can a 0/1 guage supply the MAX. amount of power to 4 amps

oh, jsloan10, >> not much! you?

Not much, Slow day.

I think the 1/0 to the split 4/0 would work fine, over short distances you can use relativly thin wire, Its the main line from the battery to the trunk that needs to be nice and beefy.
