display not working on deck

I sold my Clarion DXZ945MP, the buyer cant get the display to come on. The buttons are lit up, its just the main display that doesnt come on.. It worked when I pulled it out of my truck, and it doesnt show any signs of damage, so the shipping company didnt manage to screw it up.

He has tried resetting the deck, didnt change anything. Of course, Clarion's website is no help.

Anything else I could suggest he try?
