Display Issues

I recently got my truck worked on and they disconnected the battery/cleaned the terminals. Since then my Pioneer Premier deck has been alternating between a normal display and an "inverted" display (or "negative"... not sure how to describe it; basically the the portions that are normally illuminated go black and the portions that are normally black go illuminated). Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?

I've had it for a few years, so I can say that it's definitely not in demo mode. Hopefully it's not just screwed up because it is really annoying. Thanks for the replies.

reset it...on most pioneers when you remove the faceplate ...there will be a spot behind the face...on the deck...that says reset...use a small blunt tip device...and push inside the small hole...you'll feel the contact button give a little...to know that you done this right...replace your face and everything should be back to factory specs...you'll have to reset all the adjustments...eq....clock...stations ect....but it should fix it....most likely some people in the garage were fu(king with your radio ...laughing at it as the cranked the volume beyond clipping...and jacking with various buttons and menus...you'll most likely end up replacing a speaker or two in the near future as well....I hope this helps fix your deck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

reset that bishhh

My model doesn't have a reset button, BUT I found a sheet of yellow paper aside from the manual that had the answer. Whoever said demo mode was mostly right, and I was wrong (although I really don't see how I'm just recently ran into this problem after nearly four years of ownership). The player defaulted to a stupid "reverse demo" mode that was fixed by turning the player off and pressing 5.

Thanks for all the tips,

Jon
