Discontinued sub???

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Infinity Kappa Perfect 12" sub discontinued? A local audio shop has 8 of them and selling them for $99ea. I called to ask about them and he said they were demos/old stock and he said the subs are still being manufactured but not many places sell them. I just said okay and went about my business, but thought these were discontinued awhile back.

I was thinking they were discontinued, but I wasn't going to fool with him over the phone about it! But his ad states Infinity Kappa Perfect. The pic he has online is a generic side shot, but looks like the Perfect sub with a light silver cone (thats the one I'm talking about). Definitely not the 120.9, those look they have a goldish color cone? I think I will go and check it out!

I bought a pair of the 10's on closeout when they were discontinued, which was nearly 5 years back.

If the sub being referenced is the one with the removeable q inserts then it is in fact discontinued. They stopped these around 2007 or 08 iirc. Great sounding subs, not sure why they discontinued them.
