Disappointed.... at my new substage *AQ 15"s*

Just finished the fisrt listen to my new substage and Im horribly disappointed, Im thinking I might have a problem somewhere though becasue there no way it should be this quiet.

So today all my gear finally came in and I wrapped my box and installed everything. 2 Audioque SDC2.5 15's and 2 Cadence TXA1000D's @ 2ohm in a 8 cube net ported box @ 38hz (each sub has its own amp)

I gave power to my amps, turned down the remote gains (gains on amp are maxed) 2 ohms on a TXA1000D is supposed to be 650rms, and turned on the subs on my headunit. Volume like 5, no bass, turn up the remote gains to 1/2, SLIGHT bass notes. Volume to 1/3, very little bass, something youd expect from a 6.5" driver

I let them play or about 15 min by themselves and they noticeably started moving ALOT more, but not giving out MUCH more bass. There probly moving a good 1/2", what I would expect them to move, there just not making any bass.

WTF could it be? Both subs are moving, both amps are powerred, shits all brand new. Only thing I could think of and Im probly wrong, is I have a set of rcas running from my sub outs on my deck to one amp, and then from the amps OUTPUT to the other amps RCA inputs, I used a cheap set of 1' rcas that were connected to my stereo to do that.....

Im really hoping this isnt how they are going to sound....

What do you guys think

Kinda hard to mess up the sub _> amp wiring, its just connecting the 2 possitives together on the sub, to the + on the amp, connect the 2 negative together and then to the - on the amp

if both subs are moving, and they are not wired out of phase, then one sub does not have power.....it is moving out of phase of the other sub because it is acting as a passive crossover.....

using a dmm set on vac, what voltage do you get at each of the terminals where the speaker wire meets the box

are you sure these amps are strappable?... i'd check the load on the subs...make sure they are runnin at whatever your amps are stable at

I dont really have access to the amp gains with the way I mounted them

My voltmeter also doesnt have that function you mentioned above

I dont think the subs are out of phase as I followed the diamgram I said above, but my amps do have phase shift buttons....

Just noticed my green LED isnt coming on for power in the one amps, but I can hear it turn on when I connect the remote

this is what I was saying if one sub gets power and the other doesn't, then the non powered on is a shitty passive radiator and you will get little output

Yea, unhook the speaker wires from the amp you know's working and see what the other one does.

And I assumed they were strapppable, being as it has input and output rcas right beside eachother, why else would that be there.
That is to daisy chain amplifiers.

Amps that are strappable will have a "master/slave" switch and usually a SINGLE rca output next to the switch.

I would also unhook the remote gains and see what that does.

It sounds to me like one of the subs is out of phase or not even on.
