Directed Audio 1200/5 any good???

Hey guys, my little bro needs an amp for his subs, and he wants one for his speakers.

I was thinking of the Directed Audio 1200/5.

or i could go Directed Audio 750d & Directed Audio 4200.

all referbs from ikesound.

Ive never used Directed Audio, how are there amps?

either set up, the subs will see around 400 watts. there running at 2.3ohms (3 subs 4ohm each)

what would be the better setup, and do they perform well?

They are solid amps and they usually output to what they say. im thinking of getting a 750d myself.

I would look into the Orion 8002 or the 8004. Both are sold amps and they are going to kick *** and will not kill the wallet.

Yeah my first amp directed 1100d i got from ike was dead. so I asked if they could shio me a Viper 1200.1 and they agreed to. The viper is great! No problems so far and its been 2 weeks.

Looking at the specs of the 8004, will the rear channels take a 2ohm bridge load?

It says Mono Rating 400 x 2, but i would think thats at 4ohms right?

will it work at 2ohms?

Yes, but MONO its 400x2.

Fronts do 400, rear do 400. is that 2ohm or 4ohms?

if its 4ohms, (not stated on website) will it push at 2 ohms bridged? (not just a regular 2ohm load)

all im wondering. anyone?
