Directed amp help plz

Okay, so I just got done hooking up a friend's directed 1200d (new series, silver) amp with 2 DVC memphis subs (4 ohm per coil) all in parallel so that I get a 1 ohm load, which the amp is stable for. We tested out the amp and got the gains set and it worked great. We turn off the amp and then when we get back in to go for a ride, theres no output. We're stumped. The status light is green, indicating a normal circuit, and the ESP indicator is solid red, which indicates normal operation as well. No wires came undone and we cant figure out for the life of us whats wrong. The amp is powering up as it should, the head unit is on and playing... and the user's manual is of little use. Can anyone help us out?

Check the amp's outputs with a DMM and see if it is outputting sound. If it is then the problem is likely in the subwoofers' wiring.

If the amp has no output then check the HU's outputs at the RCA jacks. If there is no output then it is either an input problem or a bad amp.

Keep going until you find where the signal path breaks down and then go from there.

I figured it may be an RCA problem... but I am NOT gonna take apart a cavalier dash. Ill check the rca's at the amp.. Should i use volts AC or DC?

the amp has a slave and master select make sure its on master

Apparently it was an RCA connection problem. He came up to me where I work and told me its working fine now... Must have been where they hook up to the HU.
