Hi, with all amplifiers i use a test tone and DMM to set the gains. I usually set amplifier crossover off while setting gain with DMM. This amp is used for subs and i cannot set off t he LPF. I must turn it to the extreme right(250Hz) so i do not affect the 50Hz test tone and use the DMM??? If i turn it to the left( low frequencies) i may affect the 50 Hz freq no? after finishing with the DMM i will listen to music and set the right LPF. Thx

Its kind of hard to tell what your asking.... Your paragraph doenst make much sense to be honest.

My understanding is...Set your crossovers where you want them, put your sine wave to the amp with head unit at 3/4 volume (make sure your speakers are unhooked) and measure output.
