I can't imagine that it would be, but if it's bad enough a cop might pull you over and ask you what's going on...of course, you stand a bigger chance of getting cited for excessive noise then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yeah, i drove in fear last night. i was more out in the country (parent's house) and the dimming is quite noticable. my lights just pulse with the beat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

anyone know if an automotive noob could handle a DIY alt install in a 99 accord (4cyl)?

Never seen an Accord engine, but unless it's covered by something major it's a piece of cake. Mine is buried underneath the air filter/intake and it's a PITA to get to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

yeah, it's right on top, i think it'd be easy enough to get off.

so, i just need to find one that's a drop in replacement, and it should be easy?

you should try the knukonceptz ones, they are considerably cheaper than most and knukonceptz has a pretty good reputation for making good stuff.
