Dimming Q now need the A

K amp can go 1000 but I used a dmmm and set the gain to get 600 no need to second guess my wiring or settings so mark that out. The subs are svc 4 ohm so when both are connected parallel then I get a 2 ohm load that's all right trust me i'm good at that i just can't figure why they are dimming. and by saying what they (the subs) can take power wise it to tell how much power I have going so the 600wrms is taking is a crucial piece of info.

I was a little dumbfounded by that part too but that's why I asked what amp. Once he told me that, I just assumed he was using full power since I knew his logic of the subs dictating the amount of power wasn't very good there.

Yeah I'm not stupid guy. I used a dmm to set it just saying the power I was running just saying how much they take so you WOULD understand I'm NOT running the amp at full power.

op getting an attitude with us isn't the smartest way to get answers.

but regardless. like I said in an earlier post its most likely steming from the fact that you amp and your lights are on the same battery. even though your voltage may not drop and your not running that much power. it doesn't take much drain on your system to cause light dimming. especially considering with a lot of vehicles you can dim the light bye holding the window switches after they are already up.

Get HID's, they are less sensitive to voltage drops. I've dropped down to the 11's and my headlights don't dim at all.
